Chaos & Gloss is a creation/distraction/disaster of two people who just happen to be Mother (Laurie Glossy Flossy) and Daughter (Angela Glossy Flossy). We love to entertain, design, invent, and invite. We believe the world is a much better place with beautiful photos, delicious food, fabulous style, sprinkled with a dash of irreverent wit. I love glossy magazines with beautiful pictures. This love has made me want to entertain, decorate and live like those beautiful glossy pictures. Want a little more? When I was a kid my mom said I was “sturdy” – I think she meant I was a little chunky. When everyone is clapping to the beat of music, my kids ask me not to or if we are in church they give me the look (the same look I gave them when they were little & misbehaving that says: STOP IT NOW!!)

With three boys and one big boy husband, I'm the ringmaster of my very own three ring circus. In between the chaos of endless dirty socks (which haunt my dreams), numerous band-aids, adorably naughty children and even naughtier pets; I sometimes find time to squeeze in a serious love for all things creative, decorative, and fabulously frivolous; oh and one small shoe obsession....
